On the morning of Saturday, April 4, 2026, the energy of the running community came alive once again as MLAB Club hosted the “Hybrid Miles Experience” at The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, bringing together runners and fitness enthusiasts for an experience that went beyond a traditional run.
Starting from 6:00 AM, more than 200 participants gathered in a striking Black/Red theme that reflected strength and individuality. The event began with a warm-up session and a quick route briefing to prepare runners for the 8-kilometer city run ahead.
As the starting signal was given, runners moved through the city streets at their own pace, united by a shared goal — a run that was not only about distance, but about unlocking the energy within themselves. The urban route became a space filled with momentum, driven by the rhythm of footsteps, breathing, and the encouragement shared among the community all the way to the finish line.
But the experience did not end with the run.
Following the 8K session, the atmosphere shifted into the “Hybrid Training” experience, elevated by coaches from Fitness First who curated sessions focused on both recovery and strength training.
Participants were able to choose how they wanted to balance their bodies and recovery, whether through Yoga sessions designed to release muscle tension and improve flexibility after the run, or through a Mini HYROX Simulation that challenged endurance, strength, and full-body functional movement.
The combination of running and functional training perfectly reflected the concept of a “Hybrid Athlete” — not only being able to run farther, but also building strength, balance, and complete body control in every dimension.
